Portfolio: Hollis Brown Thornton
Hollis Brown Thornton creates art with very low-tech media. Most of his work is executed with graphite, acrylic, markers, and pigment transfers (probably an iron-on). The most interesting pieces are the ones which utilize pigment transfer, partially due to the flaws in the process, but mainly because of the way the artist subtracts elements of photos by scraping away at the transferred pigment.

The Dot And The Line
I watched this educational video (directed by Chuck Jones) as a child, but I don’t remember it being this awesome. It has a great moral, too.
