Iceland-born illustrator Siggi Eggertson’s work is tough to categorize. It’s similar to pixel art, with the repetition of various colored shapes being used to create a larger image. However, unlike pixel art, Eggertsson utilizes the shapes created by overlapping forms as details in his complex and beautiful illustrations.

  1. I find these works very grounded and well laid.The intense experimentation that has gone into making these is very commendable.The output is so unique that anyone would be attracted to them

  2. The bold, defiant, experimental and in-your-face style of Siggi’s art is unforgettable. The last one in the list is superb. Wish I had a poster of his art. Truly arresting stuff here.
